3 April 2003. SgtMaj Bell wants a cold Coors Light. As the busy day of 3 April 2003 drew to a close the Blue Diamond was closing in on Baghdad. With 5th Marines leading the way, the Cannon Cockers were maintaining continuous massed artillery support by leapfrogging firing units from 2/11, 3/11 and 5/11, and the Regimental Forward and Main Command Posts. Following the rapid advance on 3 April, Baghdad was in the Division's crosshairs. The CO was focused on the big push that was coming up the next day. The SgtMaj had better priorities.
